Objective? Be the most talked about and attended brand experience at SXSW 2021. To do this for WarnerMedia, we took the omnichannel approach toward a virtual destination for a remote audience at SXSW.  We built a brand new event ID from the ground up, one that expanded upon and adjusted our previous work done for previous WM's virtual Sundance event. The result was our team delivering a 2.0 virtual environment that dynamically housed all of WM's SXSW ambitions.
We Built:
· An immersive and exciting onboarding (from a new 3D video to smart registration)
· An engaging & dynamic homepage. Users would be able to see what’s live, up next and all important information in seconds
· A simplified user experience: rethinking menu hierarchies, full schedule capabilities, design elements, and more
· A brand new, custom event branding identity complete with a full brand architecture and application guide for all touchpoints
· A refreshed UI design based on the approved SXSW look & feel
